Travel and geography have always been my passion. I grew up speaking Swiss German as my parents immigrated here from Switzerland. I learned to speak the language of travel at a very young age as my father owned one of Chicago’s leading family-owned luxury travel agencies. Once I graduated, receiving my Bachelor of Science degree, I said, “How am I supposed to do this?” Computers had just came out and my father looked to me. At that time, we hand wrote tickets. I now love to work on complex international air travel itineraries. I find it to be one of my passions and have been enjoying it for over 30 years.
I love skiing, hiking, kayaking, and adventure travel around the globe and within the good old U.S.A. I have visited nearly 35 of our beautiful states. I now realize how lucky I was to learn the history of travel and to see such beautiful areas in our world. Europe is my travel specialty, but mainly Switzerland. My family still lives there in a small town surrounded by the Alps known as Davos. If you love to ski, consider this area - trust me!
